BENEFITS SUMMARY

CoastalStates Bank is a great place to work!  We offer competitive pay, a friendly working environment, and great benefits.

IMMEDIATE BENEFITS:
Two Free Checking Accounts:  Up to two regular checking accounts with no service charges.  Free single orders of “pocket style” checks from the Basic product line are available.   

Safe Deposit Boxes:  Employees get a 50% discount when they rent a safe deposit box at any CoastalStates Bank location.

Direct Deposit:  Employees may choose to have their checks electronically deposited into their checking and/or savings accounts.

Group Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance:  New Full Time Employees are eligible following their start date on the 1st of the month.

401K Plan: The Bank will match 100% of the first 3% of the pay you contribute to the plan through salary deferral plus 50% of the next 2% you defer.  In order to receive these contributions, you must meet certain requirements.

Group Long Term Disability Insurance: All Active Full-time Employees working at least 30 hours each week will be eligible for Long Term Disability Insurance.  Long-term disability benefits are paid if a disability continues past 90 days, and provide 60 % of the employee’s predisability earnings.

Group Life and Accident Insurance: All Active Full-Time Employees working at least 30 hours each week will be eligible for Group Life and Accident Plan.  This is a 100% company paid benefit for the employee only.

Training: CoastalStates Bank believes that learning is an on-going process.  The Bank pays for tuition and textbooks for courses for full-time employees in good standing.  Requests that are consistent with CoastalStates Bank’s mission and focus will be considered.  Attendance at work-related seminars and conferences will be paid for by CoastalStates Bank.

Employee Events:  Employee Social Events will be scheduled throughout the year by CoastalStates Bank at all of our locations throughout the state. 

BENEFITS AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT:

PAID TIME OFF
Holiday Pay: The Bank follows the Federal Reserve in observing the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  All full-time and part-time employees receive holiday pay if they would normally work on the day which the holiday is celebrated.

Vacation Day Pay:  Eligibility for vacation time will take effect after the first 90 days of employment.  Vice Presidents will receive 3 weeks vacation annually.  Assistant Vice Presidents will receive 2 weeks vacation annually.  Exempt and non-exempt employees will receive 2 weeks vacation annually.  Part-time employees will receive 5 vacation days.

Personal Day Pay:  Eligibility for personal time will take effect after the first 90 days of employment. Full-time employees are allowed two personal days each year.  They may be used in ½ day increments.  Part-time and Prime-time employees do not have personal time. 

Sick Day Pay: All full-time employees receive 12 sick days per year (after 90 days of employment).  Part-time and Prime-time employees do not have sick time. 

Bereavement Leave: Full-time employees are eligible for up to 4 days of paid leave in the event of a death in an employee’s immediate family.

BANKERS REWARD PROGRAM
Employees are rewarded for bringing in new accounts.  If an employee refers a non-interest bearing checking account with either a business or an individual relationship. the employee will be eligible for the monetary reward based on the opening balance and the 90-day balance.

BENEFITS AFTER 12 MONTHS EMPLOYMENT:
Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) is a federal law that allows qualifying employees the right to request up to 12 weeks unpaid leave. 

Recognition Programs
CoastalStates Bank recognizes length of service through retirement plans vesting schedules, vacation eligibility, and a special recognition.  Special recognition is made at the 5th anniversary of service and every 5th year thereafter.
